Am I at risk for breast cancer?
The chances of breast cancer increase with age
Genetics play a big role as well. People whose mother, sisters or aunts have had cancer, have a higher chance of getting breast cancer.
Early onset menstruation,(before 12years) is also a factor.
Other risk factors include tobbacco intake, alcohol intake, unhealthy diet and lack if exercise, never having a child, or having your first child after 35years old, etc.

1 or 2 in every 25 women in Nigeria has cancer at some point in their lives. In fact, it's the leading killer cancer disease for women in Nigeria.
October is the official breast cancer month, and so at Pbnig we are sharing some breast cancer facts (which you should all know by now) to raise awareness and encouragement for those who are in the fight, for those that lack knowledge and mostly, for the survivors.
So to make it a bit more interesting, we'll ask you the question before giving you the answer which is right after the picture.
Q: Is breast cancer preventable/curable?
A:Early detection is very important. People that come for treatment at a later stage, have given the cancer time to grow and possibly spread, hence making treatment and survival tougher.
Early detection can be done by frequent visit to a mammogram clinic. Breast self examination can also be done in the comfort if your home, every month, a few days after your menstrual cycle.

Show me who would be interested in pole dance, and everyone points to the most lepacious girl around. Among the first question a plus size girl asks when you talk about pole dance is, "Can I carry myself?" or "I dint think I can carry myself". (even smaller girls say this sometimes)
Well, the answer is yes and no.
Yes, if you think you can and want to.
No, if you don't think you can and give up before you try.
Carrying yourself is essentially doing a pull up, and while it won't be easy, it's possible.
Remember, practice makes possible.
Pole builds your upper body strength so you get stronger and better at lifting yourself.
Still think carrying yourself is impossible? There are lots of plus size pole dancers doing it everyday and changing that image of only skinny girls pole.
Remember the plus size white girl from the X Factor that performed in front of Simon Cowell?
Here's another diva killing it everywhere on the pole, a professional pole dance instructor and a certified badass boss, ladies and gentlemen, introducing, Roz 'The Diva' Mays *drumroll*
Roz performing at Dangerous Curves, a competition for plus size pole athletes.
So what was it you asked again? Can you carry yourself?
You have no excuse not to try.
"I can't" simply doesn't exist in the Flirty Fitness Ng space :-)
Clear the fears from your mind, and approach the pole with possibility. Sometimes the fact that you think you cant, hinders you from giving it your all. So don't be afraid of the pole if you're plus size,
Pole Plus More!!

Recipe I used is 150g of all purpose flour, 80g of rice flour but it is optional , 150g of butter I prefer salted, and 50g of icing sugar . I mix my flour and rice flour together then add the icing sugar. I add my butter and mix with my fingers, I mould a ball and and after 15mins it is ready I can roll it out and use my cookie cutter or I can use knife to cut into any shape u want. Place them into ur oven tray. Bake for 40mins to an hour till it is firm but not brown. Let it cool down before you enjoy it.

Dream versus Reality
Sometimes they differ greatly. Ever had a dream where you were working at that company, or driving that car, or being really friendly with that guy? Only to wake up and realize it was a dream.Ouch
Or you are watching someone do something, and you drift off and start picturing yourself doing same activity, but even better! See the way she's walking on the runway, I'm sure I can do that well, I may even add some waist movement to that. So you go ahead and try it out, only to see that you look waaaaay worse than this person.
Your dream and reality are not so similar, at least not yet.
But with some practice, hard work and dedication, you could get there. Keep going girls!
I know I've had my fair share of dream versus reality moments. But knowing that practice and work makes possible has always given me hope. And I hang onto that (no pun intended) :-)
